He’s anti-vax. He’s anti-medical research. He’s planning to send sick and disabled people to work camps…
And he’s Trump’s nominee to lead Medicare.
If you can take just one action this week, call to oppose the confirmation of RFK Jr.
Did you know that as a private citizen, RFK Jr has been blamed for the death of dozens of children?
And now he’s Trump’s nominee to lead Health & Human Services, the department in control of Medicare nationwide, ground-breaking medical research at the National Institute of Health, and more.
"He'll make America sick again," said Lawrence Gostin, a professor of public health law at Georgetown University.

There’s a good chance we can stop him, but we need your help!
RFK Jr’s confirmation is not a done deal.
He’s on the rocks, and not only with Democrats…
Your call could be the one that helps push your Senators to vote No.
Even if they’re Republican!
Senators treat phone calls very seriously — more than letters, voicemails, texts, and faxes. Phone calls can and do change votes.
Your call can make a difference.
We know calls can be stressful… let us the legwork for you:
Enter your state below and we’ll give you the phone number to your senators’ Washington, DC offices. On your smartphone? Just tap the number to dial them directly.
Hello, my name is NAME, I'm a constituent and I live on STREET ADDRESS in CITY, STATE, ZIP. I'm calling to urge Senator LAST NAME to vote no on RFK Jr. Thank you.
It’s really that simple!
You can call once every day to increase your impact (and it would be great if you would).
If you want to, you can tell your senator why you care — like the fact that he’s a dangerous anti-vaxxer, that he pledged to build work camps instead of giving people the medical care they need, or that he’s completely unqualified to oversee Medicare that you or your loved ones rely on. But this is totally optional!
(Are live phone calls are very difficult for you? You can call before or after hours and leave a message!)
Want to know more? Here are three reasons it’s worth your time to call today and say NO to RFK Jr:
RFK Jr is an anti-vaxxer. He has used the prestige of his family name to spread dangerous disinformation with an international reach. In Samoa, in 2019, a devastating measles outbreak killed 83, mostly children and infants… just weeks after RFK Jr traveled there on an anti-vax tour. As unvaccinated children were dying and families mourning, RFK Jr wrote to the government of Samoa and blamed it on vaccines.
RFK Jr has pledged to build “hundreds” of work camps to detain people with mental health issues."We're going to build hundreds of healing farms where American kids can reconnect with America's soil." He’d use these farms to detain people with substance use disorder and people with ADHD and depression who have legally prescribed Adderall and SSRIs. He would hold them there for up to 4 years with no access to phones or computers.
RFK Jr has pledged to “pause” infectious disease research for 8 years. He said he would tell researchers at the National Institute of Health, "Thank you for [your] public service. We're going to give infectious disease a break for about 8 years."r American medical research is first in the world, and this “break” would not only endanger us all, and deprive us of important advancements, it would set our country back decades as researchers leave the country or the profession entirely.
And, lastly — critically! — unlike some other nominees… RFK Jr is on shaky ground.

“We cannot and should not stay silent. We know what [RFK Jr’s] appointment means. It means more platforms for anti-vaxxers and less funding for vaccines and health programmes,” Aiono Prof Alec Ekeroma, Samoa’s director general of health, told the Guardian.
“It must be treated as a threat to our health security.”
